Study organisation principles
This document applies to our bartender training courses and forms part of the terms of registration.
The Estonian version is the legally binding one.
1. General provisions
1.1 MBR Creative OÜ, registry code 16759709 (hereinafter the Training Provider), organises continuing training in accordance with the applicable legislation on adult education, the regulation of the Minister of Education and Research “Continuing Training Standard”, and other related legal acts and documents.
1.2 Work-related continuing training for adults is organised. Training takes place at Tartu mnt 35, 1st floor, Tallinn, or where necessary in suitable classrooms rented from partners.
1.3 Training is provided as paid group training, individual training or project training, according to the training calendar published on the institution's website at bartenders.ee.
1.4 Training takes place in the volume set by the curriculum and according to the timetable; volume is counted in academic hours, where one academic hour is 45 minutes.
1.5 The language of instruction at MBR Creative OÜ is Estonian, Russian or English.
1.6 The founding document of the studies is the curriculum, which defines at least:
- the name of the curriculum;
- the curriculum group;
- the target group;
- the language of instruction;
- the learning outcomes;
- the conditions for starting the studies, where these are a prerequisite for achieving the learning outcomes;
- the total volume of study, including classroom, practical and independent work;
- the content of the studies;
- a description of the learning environment;
- the conditions for completion and the documents issued;
- a description of the qualification, study or work experience required to deliver the training.
2. Collection and processing of personal data
2.1 Mittetulundusühing MBR Creative OÜ collects the following data about students: name, e-mail, telephone and personal identification code. The personal identification code is needed for the certificate or the statement. Personal data is processed in accordance with § 6 of the Personal Data Protection Act.
2.2 In processing personal data the Training Provider also follows the General Data Protection Regulation.
3. Conditions for admitting students to continuing training
3.1. Registering for training
3.1.1 Registration in advance is required. You can register on the website bartenders.ee, by e-mail (info@bartenders.ee), or by telephone on +372 55672417. Those who register online receive confirmation of registration by e-mail.
3.1.2. The student has the right to receive further information from the contact person of MBR Creative OÜ, whose details are available on the website bartenders.ee.
3.2. Forming the training group
3.2.1. The study group is formed in the order of registration for the training.
3.2.2. A list of students is drawn up in order to start the training.
3.2.3. If the training group does not fill, MBR Creative OÜ has the right to cancel the training or to postpone it until the group is full. Those registered are notified by telephone or e-mail at least two days in advance. If the training is cancelled for reasons attributable to the organisers, the training fee is refunded.
4. Starting and taking part in the training
4.1. Studies may be started by students who have been included in a study group by MBR Creative OÜ and who have paid the training fee or received a letter from a company or institution confirming payment.
4.2. The participant confirms attendance by signing the registration sheet.
5. Completion of training and procedure for exclusion
5.1. The conditions for completing the training are laid down in the curriculum. A student who has acquired the learning outcomes and passed the assessment is issued a certificate. A student who did not take part in the assessment, or did not pass it, is issued a statement.
5.2 Certificates and statements may also be issued electronically.
5.3 At least the following data is entered on the certificate and the statement:
- 5.3.1 the name and personal identification code of the person who took part in or completed the continuing training;
- 5.3.2 the name of the continuing training institution and the registry code of its holder;
- 5.3.3 the registration number of the notice of economic activities or of the activity licence in the Estonian Education Information System;
- 5.3.4 the name of the curriculum;
- 5.3.5 the time and the volume of the continuing training;
- 5.3.6 the place and date of issue of the statement or certificate;
- 5.3.7 the number of the statement or certificate;
- 5.3.8 the names of the trainers.
5.4. To obtain feedback on the training, graduates complete a questionnaire at the end of the course.
5.5. A student is excluded at their own request, upon non-payment of the invoice issued for the training, or upon breach of the contract terms. The school reviews each case individually.
6. Payment for the training
6.1. Payment for the training is made on the basis of an invoice before the training begins. The invoice must be paid by the due date indicated on it.
6.2. The training may be paid for in instalments, for which a separate agreement is concluded with the payer.
6.3. A student paying for training as a private person has the right, when filing a tax return, to apply to the Tax and Customs Board for an income-tax refund, if the training taken was designed for acquiring professional, occupational or specialist competences and is linked to an occupational standard.
7. Withdrawing from the training
7.1. If a person registered for the training is unable to take part, the training organiser of MBR Creative OÜ must be notified in writing, on paper or by e-mail (info@bartenders.ee).
7.2. When withdrawal is notified 3 days or more before the training begins, 100% of the training fee is refunded.
7.3. When withdrawal is notified less than 3 days before the training begins, 50% of the training fee is refunded.
7.4. The training fee paid may be transferred to another training course.
8. Interrupting the training
8.1. If the training is left unfinished, the training fee is not refunded. If there is a valid reason for the interruption (illness, a work assignment or similar), the student may join the next group.
9. Rights and obligations of the student
9.1. The student has the right:
- 9.1.1. to choose a course matching their abilities and interests;
- 9.1.2. to demand quality training;
- 9.1.3. to receive information about the study organisation and curriculum of MBR Creative OÜ;
- 9.1.4. to demand a refund of the training fee for courses cancelled through the fault of MBR Creative OÜ;
- 9.1.5. to leave of their own accord before the end of the study period, in which case the training fee is not refunded;
- 9.1.6. to receive at the end of the course a certificate or statement confirming participation.
9.2. The student is obliged:
- 9.2.1. to act in an emergency (fire, water damage, bomb threat and similar) in accordance with the rules and the instructions of the Training Provider's staff;
- 9.2.2. to treat with care the study aids placed at their disposal and the property of the training centre;
- 9.2.3. to behave in accordance with generally accepted standards of decency.
10. Qualification requirements for trainers
10.1. Trainers must hold higher professional and pedagogical education, or have been actively working in the field taught and have corresponding experience which they are able to prove.
11. Procedure for resolving disputes
11.1. Differences of opinion and disputes arising between MBR Creative OÜ and the student/employee are resolved by the parties primarily through negotiation. If the differences cannot be resolved through negotiation, the dispute is settled in Harju County Court.
