Glass pyramid: a visual moment for a welcome or celebration

We build the glass arrangement, calculate the required volumes and turn the pour itself into a memorable part of the event. And if you want a real performance, the pyramid can come down in style.

01Glass Pyramid

More than decoration

A pyramid can greet the guests, accompany a toast, a wedding moment, an opening or an anniversary. It is built in advance on a checked, stable surface and filled at the agreed moment with sparkling wine or another suitable drink. The pour is the moment: guests gather round, take pictures, and the first glass goes out into the room.

Before the event we agree the size, the spot, the drink and the sequence: who pours, when, and what happens to the glasses next. It is a short block, not an hours-long service: preparation plus one agreed ceremonial moment. Choose a scenario

Works well for

  • weddings: a welcome, a toast or the groom’s entrance
  • anniversaries and birthdays
  • corporate events and openings
  • welcome areas at conferences and launches

02Glass Pyramid

Choose a scenario

Four ways to use the pyramid. Size and drink are matched to the guest count and the moment in the programme.

  1. Option 1

    The classic pyramid

Built in advance, filled from the top at the agreed moment, then the glasses go to the guests. Our staff member pours and keeps the area around the structure under control.

  2. Option 2

    The breaking pyramid: a performance

Not an installation but a real act. It is often booked for the groom’s entrance: he walks up, takes a bottom glass, the pyramid collapses, he takes one sip and throws the glass over his shoulder. We prepare everything, brief the performer and clear every last shard afterwards.

  3. Option 3

    Poured by your own hands

The top glass is filled by the couple, the person celebrating or the head of the company. The structure is prepared in advance; our staff member stands by and controls the process.

  4. Option 4

A pyramid in the welcome area

Greets guests at the entrance as a ceremonial welcome. If guests arrive all at once in a big wave, we add a fast welcome station next to it.

03What's included

What we organise

The line-up for the full format. The drink can be yours or ours; the quote says which.

  • A stable base

Our table and a checked level surface. The venue’s table is fine when it is level, stable and large enough.

  • Glasses with a reserve

Real glass, coupes. Spares for breakages always travel with us. See the glassware

  • A staff member

Builds the pyramid, is responsible for its geometry and stability, pours or controls the filling and hand-out.

  • Glass and drink calculation

Size matched to guests and scenario, number of bottles and serving temperature.

  • Area preparation

The pyramid is fully ready before guests approach it. We arrive early.

  • Take-down and clean-up

After use we dismantle the structure and collect the glass. After the breaking performance we clear every last shard.

05How much does it cost

How much a glass pyramid costs

The price depends on size, glassware, staff, scenario and logistics. The drink is a separate line when it is part of the order.

What affects the price:

  1. Pyramid size The number of glasses follows the guests and the scenario; the available sizes are confirmed in the quote.
  2. Glassware and staff The glass set with spares, building, control and hand-out.
  3. The drink Your sparkling wine or purchased by us, number of bottles.
  4. Scenario Classic pour, poured by your own hands, or the breaking performance.

08How it works

How booking works

  1. Request

Date, venue, approximate guest count, the moment you want the pour, where it stands and who supplies the drink.

  2. Quote

We propose size, scenario and glassware and send a quote with glass, staff and drink shown separately.

  3. Confirmation

The paid deposit invoice secures the date. Then we agree the exact spot, the ready time and the pouring sequence.

  4. Event

We arrive early, build the pyramid before guests arrive, run the moment as planned, dismantle and clean up.

09FAQ

Frequently asked questions about the pyramid

How many glasses can the pyramid have?

Size follows the guest count and the scenario, and the pyramid does not have to hold a glass for every guest. The available configurations are confirmed in the quote.

What is the breaking performance?

A real act rather than an installation. The performer, often the groom on his entrance, walks up to the pyramid, takes a bottom glass, the structure collapses, he takes one sip and throws the glass over his shoulder. We prepare the area and the structure, brief the performer and clear every last shard after the act.

Can we use our own sparkling wine?

Yes. We agree the number of bottles and the serving temperature in advance. We can also buy it in; that appears as a separate line.

Can it be alcohol-free?

We can discuss alcohol-free sparkling or another suitable drink. We test the specific option beforehand: how it pours and how it looks in the glasses matters.

Can the couple pour it themselves?

Yes. The structure is prepared in advance; our staff member stands by and controls the process. We choose the scenario together before the event.

When is the pyramid built?

In advance, before guests approach it. We arrive with time to spare, build on a checked level surface and keep the surrounding area clear.

Can it stand outdoors?

Yes, on a level, stable surface and in calm weather. Wind, vibration and uneven ground raise the risk, so for outdoors we always discuss a fallback.

What if a glass breaks?

Spare glass always travels with us and our staff member clears the pieces safely. Liability terms for damage are set out in the quote.

Can guests take glasses themselves?

Yes, when the scenario allows it and the structure lets glasses be removed safely. Our staff member keeps the process under control.

Can it be combined with a welcome bar or a show?

Yes. The pyramid works well as a ceremonial welcome next to a fast drinks station, and as a separate visual moment before or after a bartender show.

Why might the actual price differ from the reference figure shown?

The reference figure doesn't include possible discounts. A manager may apply an additional discount — for example during the low season, for repeat clients, agencies, or very large orders.
